Silver Cross

Long time no post! Decided on a pram today Silver Cross no less. Well baby is wiggling, think we ve decided on names and stuff. Getting quite excited, The Hobbit is going well think the trolls may have scared it but Rivendell filled it full of wonder, maybe?
Planning Nursery colours and leaving hospital outfit, it has ears no less. Most excited I've ever been.

Changing Bumps

Well the bump seems to have a life of its own moving around like crazy. First all front then all side. It's alive I tell you  alive. I wonder what it's thinking, apparently it can sense light changes and hear nearly everything. Yet it wont remember but will it form opinions? Who can say?

Hope

Well 16 weeks today, bump is growing fine. keep talking to the bump, wonder if it is just hearing noise or some things are drifting across its consciousness making suggestions forming neural links and so forth.Really worried how the baby will view me. After all the heartache striving to conceive will it realise how much is invested in it. All my hopes and dreams go with thee young one. I hope i live up to your wishes.

Of Hopes and Dreams

Well I am spending my days planning tree houses (pictures to follow) and slides off garage roof to a paddling pool. Am I dreamer, if so am I the only one? Whatever the wife has many opinions thankfully I only hear half of them at best. I will build a miniature theme park in my garden I swears it I do.
Also bump massive and heartbeat good today.
Can't wait to hold it and wipe my wife's brow, although suspect she will be strangling me, a lot...........

Of Holes and Hobbits

15 weeks and according to the lovely wife the baby can hear, so I am reading The Hobbit, not only the greatest Children s' book ever but a wonderful treatise on changing the world no matter how small or uninvolved you are. Hope the baby is picking up a modicum of narrative but the real excitement is looking forward too reading it again when they are a bit older.

I am so excited about it can't wait to hold it and tuck it in bed and read it to sleep, and make it safe. Some people keep saying being a parent is the best job ever, its not a job its the sole purpose of existence and a privilege to be thankful for every day.
